Welcome to Fall 2026 Baseball Registration with Northwest 45 Little League!

We are chartered through Little League International and play in the Southwest Region, East Texas Section 2, District 28.

IMPORTANT DATES

Evaluations August 22, 2026 for Coach Pitch 7/8-Seniors (Tee Ball and Coach Pitch 5/6 do not go through evaluations, players will be placed on teams)

Draft for Coaches 8/24-8/30; exact day/time for each division TBD

Practices begin 9/1/2026

Players are provided a hat and a shirt for the Season. All equipment including pants, socks, belt, bat, glove, helmet and cleats are the responsibility of the parents. Team colors for pants , socks and belt will be determined by coaches once team names are drafted.

Games and practices take place Monday-Saturday. Once coaches draft their practice days and times, they will provide that information to the team. We will not have that information until after drafts the week of 8/24-8/30. Once the season starts, practices are typically Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; however, your coach may choose to have additional practice times on other days at other locations.
Weeknight games will be Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning between 6pm-7:45pm and can run as late as 10:00pm for some divisions. Saturday games can be scheduled all day.

IMPORTANT - When completing your child's registration, all players are automatically drafted into the correct division that corresponds to their birthday. The dates are pre-determined within the system and are based on what your child's age will be August 31, 2027.

We can not guarantee player/coach requests for evaluated/drafted divisions. We will try to grant player/coach requests for Tee Ball and Coach Pitch 6, but only if we can keep the teams fair and balanced. We do honor sibling requests

Coaches and volunteers must complete the volunteer form within their players account. Any adult that will be on the field or inside the dugout will be required to complete a background check. Teams need multiple volunteers other than just managers and coaches to help make the season fun and successful.

Tee Ball

This division is open to players that will be 4-5 by August 31, 2027 (league age). This division focuses on learning the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. A tee is used for batting to allow players equal opportunity to put the ball in play. Players are taught the fundamentals of baseball and the value of teamwork. Wins and losses are not recorded, and outs are not counted-the full lineup bats each inning.

Coach Pitch 5/6

This division is open to players that will be 5-6 by August 31, 2027 (league age). The division serves as an interim division focused on preparing players to move up to the next level of play. It focuses on building both offensive and defensive play by introducing hitting thrown pitches, fielding, outs, and strikeouts. Players will get up to 3 pitches from their coach and 2 attempts off a tee if they do not hit a pitched ball.

Coach Pitch 7/8

This division is open to players that will be 7-8 by August 31, 2027 (league age). It builds upon the fundamentals learned in the Tee Ball and Coach Pitch 6 divisions. In this division, players transition to batting against a coach pitched ball without being offered a tee. This division is played on a 46’ mound and 60’ base paths. Additional focus is put on the value of teamwork and understanding the different defensive positions.

Minors9/10

This division is open to players that will be 9-10 by August 31, 2027 (league age). It builds upon the fundamentals learned in Coach Pitch. In this division, players transition from a machine pitched ball to a player pitcher. Players are introduced to pitching and further instructed on defensive positioning, base running, and are introduced to the dropped 3rd strike rule. This division is played on a 46’ mound and 60’ base paths.

Intermediate 50/70

This division is open to players that will be 11-13 by August 31, 2027 (league age). This division offers an exciting transition for players as they move up to a 50’ mound and 70’ base paths. It builds upon the fundamentals learned in lower divisions and introduces additional baseball skills such as lead offs, pick offs, and balks. This division allows the use of either USA or BBCOR bats. Inter-league play and travel within our district may be required within this division depending on registration numbers.

Junior League

This division is open to players that will be 13-14 by August 31, 2027 (league age). This division is played on a 60' mound and 90’ base paths. It builds upon the fundamentals learned in the lower divisions and offers the ability for players to continue to play organized baseball into their high school years. This division allows the use of either USA or BBCOR bats. This division may be combined with the senior division, and Inter-league play and travel within our district may be required depending on registration numbers.

Junior/Senior League

This division is open to players that will be 15-16 by August 31, 2027 (league age). This division is played on a 60' mound and 90’ base paths. It builds upon the fundamentals learned in the lower divisions and offers the ability for players to continue to play organized baseball into their high school years. This division requires the use of -3 BBCOR 2 5/8' bats. This division may be combined with the junior division, and Inter-league play and travel within our district may be required depending on registration numbers.

Fall 2026

Northwest 45 Little League provides opportunities for boys and girls ages 4 to 16 to learn to play the sport of baseball. LEAGUE AGE is determined by a player’s age on August 31, 2027. A player’s league age may be different from their actual age. The division shown for your child during registration is based on their date of birth. This will be the division your child will play in for both Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.

Included in registration: hat, jersey, 10-12 games, costs of umpires, league and field function and maintenance.
